Well, it is not often that we have two hard-core and interesting IFR threads and a brain teaser of an evening. I haven't enjoyed the Forum so much for months. Thank you all.

I just read in the October issue that Philip is the new editor for Flyer.

That is rather good news for the magazine as he is an excellent editor.

However if that means that he has left AOPA's magazine it may well mean that there is yet one...

When I first joined last year the forums were quick and a joy to surft, especially compared to PPRuNe which was painfully slow.

Of late it seems to be the other way round and the forums are now so slow that browsing is a painful exercise even at...

Am I the only one to notice the secret messages on the spine of Flyer.

Is it just me, or are the fora running rather slowly? Even the valve powered pprune appears rapid by comparison. I connect from work on a turbo-boost broadband mega-line, so it's not just my connection.

In one of what seems to be an unfortunate series of stumbles, BT chose today to drill through the wire that connects the forums to the rest of the world.

Normal service now resumed - hopefully we are now back on an even keel again.

I need to renew my subscription but have not brought in the flyer (pun intended!) with the Flyer subscription details. Am finding it very slow going on the website, and am unable to access the subscription page.
