I have got a pass out for Sunday. The weather looks as if it might play ball with an area of High Pressure to the west.

Taking a plane up for a 50 hour so will be hanging around for a few hours if anyone fancies meeting for coffee.

I shall be meeting up with a few flying friends at Gloucester tomorrow if anyone else happens to be in the vicinity.
We are going to be meeting in the Café opposite the terminal, so if anyone finds themselves there tomorrow I would love to say Hiya.

Some aged Forumites may remember the Summer of 03 (no, not a Bryan Adams song) when we took over Husbands Bosworth for a Saturday afternoon/evening and enjoyed ourselves flying, gliding, musicking and quaffing, returning home on the Sunday morning....

The 120 hour synoptic shows three large high pressure systems combining on Saturday. Should give stable clear weather over much of the UK and northern europe. Anyone going anywhere?

Apparently there is a fly-in at Kemble on Jan 16th where all landing fees will be waived for visitors.

Unknown to all, last week AfricanEagle and TonyR met in Belfast and shared a drink. Time was short and no flying occurred, but it was nice meeting each other and chatting about winged things.

Looks like it should be very flyable this afternoon, particularly once the front has gone through. The TAF and the radar are in good agreement that Gatwick/Redhill should be free from it by about 13:00, so I'll be flying west.
