Hi Everyone,

I have been plodding through my PPL at a fairly steady pace and managed to get 7 of the Exams done, (just Met and Principles of flight left to go) and I am now due to do my QXC, The route is Norwich-Leicester-Cambridge.

Apart from my anxiety about leaving the security blanket of ATC for Leicester, the biggest concern I have is the overhead join, I have only done one with my instructor and though it went without a hitch, its all a bit of a blur now and I am aware that the next one I do will be on my own in a couple of weeks.

I am flying to Cambridge on Monday with my FI and will try to get another practice on somewhere on route, but does anyone have any advice? I understand the theory but putting all that together whilst keeping up with my comms and lookout is a bit daunting to say the least!

Cheers,

Rob.
