One of my first away trips from Yorkshire since completing my PPL. I have been looking at Airfields offering radar service to steady my workload and gain more confidence. Professional tower service and friendly marshallers waiting for me on parking up at Hawarden with £22.60+VAT being a snip for use of the airfield and FBO lounge. The staff ply you with drinks and snacks. Nice big runway and a chance to see a Beluga add to the benefits with a cafe outside the gate.
Teesside is £56.25 +VAT and Norwich £36+VAT, so good value for what they offer.
