I’ve found myself getting quite angry at the weather (in the U.K.) wondering why we’ve basically had the same (unreliable) weather that doesn’t seem to have changed all week.
I’ve told myself, surely it can’t just be gusty EVERY day? Surely the weather will change, and forecast will be wrong? But it’s just getting slightly worse! (Which for some reason is even more frustrating than if it got dramatically worse, because at least that would be something a bit different to the past week! )

But it seems that this frustration, and constantly looking at the forecast all week hoping the wind will calm down, has been somewhat demotivating.

I can only afford to do one lesson a month, so waiting 4 weeks between lessons, only to learn that the next one isn’t going to go ahead ( and there being no availability to book again this month) has kind of frustrated me a bit.
So the next time I fly, it’s likely going to be 8 weeks since my last lesson… (that’s IF the weather allows it that time)

It’s weird that I knew that the weather here would be a hinderance, but for some reason I just told myself I would be alright and probably get lucky (how bad can it be?!)… and perhaps the aircraft availability will be more flexible so I could deal with it that way… but how wrong was I?

To be honest, if this doesn’t get better then I’m not sure it’s actually worth the money.

I think it’s likely that the weather will be better in the winter months.(or am I wrong again?)

I do wonder though how people in a similar position have managed to get though this?

FYI - I’m training in an ultralight EV97
