I have been flying a C172M during flight school and have progressed after completing training to a C172K but have noticed little differences after a few months.
Specifically the C172K has a lot more natural pitch up tendencies in the takeoff and cruise parts of flight. So much so that I have to pitch down to hold level and apply a heavy trim setting. Without trim it takes a lot of strength to handle the C172K which the C172M didnt take. Nothing is different on weight, it's just me and nothing in the back. Both are fixed pitch, 180HP units.
I just find it strange how different they handle and wondered if anyone could offer an answer or suggestion.
