Can't miss a good blue sky day when the Boss wants to play out 
Casting around the bazaars for a deal, we were presented with 3 most gracious offers from The Midlands.
As I am lazy and looked at airspace, today we chose Wellesbourne and were not disappointed. Checked in, set off, did some exercises on the way, slipped down, over the top and into the first circuit.
Strong sun from the south was an issue, but traffic was light and we did 4 circuits with other traffic - all superbly coordinated by the AFISO - well done !
Landed, reversed into the parking
Café was almost full and buzzing. I was going to be good and have a salad sandwich, but succumbed to ham, egg and chips...... 10/10.
Common sense dictated a quick backtrack and we legged it to the east. Cleared the veils and stood it on it's arris up to FL150. Up past the pesky stuff around Waddington and then peeled over Humberside and back to Yeadon - beat Bogtrotter Airways in.....
