I need some guidance on fitting access hatches into an existing Polyfiber surface. The Polyfiber manual only covers putting the rings in place during fabric installation.
The only access I'll have is from the outside after I've cut fabric.
I'm trying to figure out the best way of fixing the plastic ring in place,
Do I just cut the inner hole and glue the ring on the inside?
Do I try and fold the fabric in through the hole and glue it over the ring?
Will the fabric actually fold back with numerous layers of paint on it?
Any options on glues? Don't really want to buy a pint of Poly-Tak to fit one ring!
