I’m in the process of reworking the Condors panel, and whilst I am doing it my mind has wandered to fitting an Avmap Ultra EFIS and getting rid of all the vacuum instruments and thus the vacuum pump (yes there is more than enough spare generator capacity to comfortably support the max of 1A needed for the EFIS).
But removing the pump means fitting a blanking plate in place of the vacuum pump adaptor (item 39 on page 2-6 in the engine manual). Is there a source for those blanking plates or do I buy a piece of aluminium and make / have one made?
