Future Flight Competitions close soon
Thank you to everyone who has engaged with the Future Flight Strategic Growth and Regional Demonstrator competitions.

As a reminder, the competitions will close Wednesday, 11 June 2025 1100am.

Please ensure you submit your proposal before this time as there will not be any extensions to the application deadline. While we understand the challenges of developing collaborative applications within a short period, this timeframe is necessary to maximise the amount of time successful projects will have to utilise funding within this financial year.

Competition Details
The two funding competitions were launched by Innovate UK, in partnership with the Department for Transport (DfT) to accelerate the UK’s journey towards commercial, zero-emission aviation and advanced drone operations.

£600,000 Future Flight Regional Demonstrator Competition

We’re investing in projects that will showcase the commercial potential of regional drone, eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing), or zero-emission CTOL (conventional take-off and landing) services at scale. This funding will help drive real-world deployment, attract investment, and unlock transformative benefits for UK communities.

£3 Million Future Flight Strategic Growth Competition
