The smaller of the two Reims airports - the other being the military Reims Champagne, wich has a civil side - Prunay has a hard runway 07/25 of 1150m with displaced thresholds at both ends. Because of that, from the air the runway initially appears shorter than it is. There is also a wide grass runway next to it.
On the field there is a basic 2 star hotel, L'Escale, with a reasonable restaurant attached. "Classic" rooms with double bed are €49.90 per night; in the French fashion, the bathroom is a shower, toilet and small basin in what is effectively a cupboard with plastic interior. Breakfast is €7.
Taxis into Reims centre-ville are not cheap. Last night two of us paid €54 one way, and €36 back again.
Landing fee and overnight parking for a Grob 109 motorglider (850kg MAUM) was €11.40. That's €8.95 (€10.70 inc. TVA) landing fee for <1 tonne, and €0.69inc. TVA for "parking herbe".
Avgas was relatively cheap (see separate league table entries) at €1.8753 per litre "TTC" (all taxes included), whilst Jet A1 was expensive at €1.5194/litre TTC.
