Hi all,
They always seem to be in the middle of fields or ludicrously out in the open.
I’ve presumed that either the landscapes have changed since WW2 and they used to be in hedgerows, or they were diversions to draw fire away from the actual machine gun at the edge of the woods.
Would they really have put people in them?
Does anyone know.
