Over the past weekend I haven’t been able to get into the forums to post.
On Saturday I appeared to be logged out so clicked on sign in. This didn’t take me to the usual page to enter username and password, it seemed to bypass that and took me straight to member landing page on the website, but the top right corner still showed “sign in” “join today” rather than my username.
None of the links on that page worked and when I clicked on forums in the top left menu I slowly got back to the forum page, but was still logged out. This went on all weekend, I tried the delete cookies fix and also the delete full browser history. No joy.
About half an hour ago I tried again but was still logged out. I tried to view a post but clicked on the author by accident. This gave me the ‘only users can see this’ page, but crucially I had the enter username/password boxes here. I was able to enter my details and it let me in.
I tried to post in this forum but it timed out and kicked me out again.
This time when I tried sign in it repeated the weekend error and went straight to the member page, but this time the links worked and I was able to see my landing vouchers with my name on them. But top right still shows “sign in / join today”
Is this a new issue or just another symptom of the ongoing forum problems?
Ps. I’ve tried to submit this post several times but get a safari error message - a black screen with “cannot parse this response “
