A seed was sown by a well-known student forumite (take a bow @t6harvard) that it might be nice to have a thread for relatively newly qualified students to share their first new flight experiences as inspiration for current students and ideas for newly qualified students. In another thread, @steveC64 posted a great flight idea (which hopefully he will add below) that threw a bit of water and fertiliser on the seed.
So, here it is - a new thread in the student forum for recently qualified's and others to post their trip reports.
I'll leave it up to the mods as to whether they want to make it a pinned thread or not (I accept that if we're not careful, the whole of the first page of the student section will be pinned). Also whether to keep it in the student section but the thoughts on that are laid out below.
I won't impose rules (that's the mod's job) but the thought was to keep it in the student section as newly qualified's will still be on a steep learning curve too. It should stay as a safe place to share experiences, good and bad, and be able to get some gentle coaching.
Happy posting and I hope to get some inspiration for my growth curve.
