Welcome to Redhill!

It's a lovely large (water retaining) field situated just a few miles North of Gatwick Airport. It has a multitude of runways, although do not worry about these as from late summer round to mid spring they are normally waterlogged and all take offs and landings are done from the curvaceous (I love curves :D)CD taxiway, after using the taxiway a few times you'll really fail to understand why other airfields go to so much bother to make their runways straight

Redhill enjoys full ATC and on the odd occasions when the N/S runway is in use they enjoy endless chats on the phone with their colleagues at Gatwick about airspace busts and the like, so please if you plan to visit ensure you are fully aware of VRPs and circuit patterns full details at http://www.redhillaerodrome.com/

If like most pilots you would like to enjoy a bite to eat then please arrive early as for some reason unknown to mankind even on barmy sunny days the café and bar closes around 3ish leaving pilots and visitors wandering around aimlessly looking for blackberries, mushrooms or a natural spring!

No one knows what fate awaits Redhill maybe an equestrian centre, housing estate or even a hard runway  but with fuel, lots of Helis and a small museum why not visit while you can
