Given the upcoming sale, its amazing to see such a positive spin on what is from the outside a worsening situation with current management at Gloucestershire Airport.
Cant believe any operator or tenant is happy to see the airport close or restrict movements over the summer, failure to recruit in ATC perhaps due to the time its taken for anyone to get round to this and the 5 ATC people aren't even training yet let alone actually qualified . Lets ignore that the new management has already changed by 25% since the start of the year. Not the place it once was and yet offers to help the ATC situation have been spurned for the sake of saving face or looking at other options spin. Just go on to companies house and look how many directors have left in the last year, this does set the precedence from above. Going to be a long hard summer, but its ok the operators are on the long journey even if its from the closed hangar doors or at another airfield.
