Don't worry! i'm not going to post every time I do circuits. This is a follow-up and thank you to my last post.
My second lot of formal circuit training. A chance to apply the good advice/suggestions from so many of you on my last post. And boy did it make a difference!
Trim - so much better, its hard to know where to start. Your tips were applied. A subtle hands off the yoke confirmed things were where I needed them to be. So simple yet so effective. From climb-out to final. The positive impact on workload was significant.
Transitions - leveling out on crosswind, turning base and apply flaps - oh my yes! More positive, immediate.
Flying downwind, hands free at the right speed, heading and altitude.... felt soooooo good! Even got a nudge from the FI together with a "Nice!"
Of the five landings I managed one greaser, much to the cheers of my FI.
Its is very early days, and there are alot of things to get right, improve, and mistakes I still need to address. BUT... what a difference to the first set of circuits! I skipped out of Ops like a giddy five year old.
Thanks all!
