Unless I am going mad - which I probably am - I've just looked at a thread I was participating in (in fact, one that I started) and a post I had made has disappeared entirely. I think someone else's post has also gone.
It wasn't any controversial topic - an entirely mundane discussion about headset recommendations - so there's no logical explanation for why it has disappeared.
Is there a gremlin in the system somewhere? Has this happened to others?
