Keeping this one separate to my main LAPL thread!

I need to get FRTOL done. I've already passed the CAA comms exam. With work/life etc I'm ideally looking for a Zoom type evening course to prep me for the FRTOL practical exam, which I will then take at my own club (Leicester). I've been doing solo XC for a while and I'm about to do my QXC so I'm reasonably happy with ground, circuit, depart/rejoin calls. I'd mainly like to focus on controlled airspace transits, SVFR, QDM, lost, and distress calls.

I'm looking at a course with Irv Lee, higherplane.co.uk, I think it's about £100 and the timings work well for me. Although I'll be sharing with other students and when it's finished, it's gone.

Other option is Wilco Radio, an AI based platform I could just do whenever in my own time. It looks interesting, and although it's more expensive, I'd have access to the platform "for life" so I can brush up when needed, however from the limited videos it's very hard to understand how it actually "works". It says it's not Speech Analytics based (something I am very familiar with due to my work and I get that a speech platform will massively struggle with acronyms etc) but I don't know how it's going to tell if you've nailed a call or made a complete horlicks of it.

Does anyone have any experiences? I could sign up for the free trial but I'd like to ask the collective first!

Thanks
