Mr Seager writes about potential changes to 'N' reg GA activity. Presumably this would also concern European reg aircraft based here in the UK. A growing number.

I am not in favour (despite rumours to the contrary) of losing the valuable FAA/IR priveleges and agree that our complicated regulatory system is onerous. The DfT may of course argue that the proposals are part of producing a simplified system!

Does anyone know what has led to these proposals? There is normally reason to instigate change.

Is there a voice for general aviation in the UK which will represent the community?
