Navigo is the App for buying Paris transport tickets. I was 'lucky' enough to find its bug. If you buy a day, week, month ticket in advance, you are given the usual sort of calendar to tap 'start date', which you can then check before pressing pay. I happened to buy one whilst still in the UK but between 2300 and midnight. Don't!
The App's programmers have coded something weird. Instead of taking the actual start date selected on the calendar, they work out 'how many days ahead' you want it to start, then apply it to the French time of purchase. So buy a day ticket for use the next day in the UK at (say) 1800 UK time on April 19th, (by selecting 20th on their calendar) and you get shown you selected the right date, you pay, and the correct ticket is produced. But do the same between 2300 and midnight UK time, and even though you are shown you selected the start date correctly the ticket that is produced is for the day after you want it to start, non cancellable.
12€ lost? No, a complaint reveals they know (now?), and 12€ being re-credited (apparently), but only 'cos I wrote in.

What's that? ... Yorkshire... Why do you ask?
