I binned my Flyer club membership a couple of months ago principally because trying to log in on any device was a complete pain in the ar se; but also as an ex-pilot none of the freebee landings, seminars on how to maintain my ragwing, reports of Oshkosh which I've never been able to visit for many reasons, or other stuff were relevant any more.

But the stuff on here which one can access for free has become so screamingly dull that I am in the horns of a dilemma: do I do a Rob P and become a closet lurker or do I re-join the Flyer Club ( actually I cancelled my sub with four months still to run-expiry June- but that's another story) if only to be able to read the politics thread again and feast on @johnm's wacky diatribes.
