Serious question; Is it a thing that as you get older your threshold levels get noticeably lower? Yesterday I had a couple of pints of Doom Bar (so not exactly Gold Label) while waiting for a 7pm train and this morning I could still feel it a bit. I just can't drink like I used to and the 'switch goes down' much sooner than it used to.
Not a big drinker in general although socials can be big drinking if you get the drift. More of a social drinker so a bottle of wine can sometimes be in the fridge for a week before being touched and spirits are in danger of going out of date, but we do like a social glass or six with pals a few times a month.
The signal I'm getting is to just give it up.
And you there, stop laughing at the back, it's not funny!
