I don't often wander into 'ere, and it seems I missed the 'Lecomber' thread - now locked. I'd like to put my name down as a fan of the guy, even though he has maybe not yet got into his stride as a columnist. Some of the stuff he wrote for 'Pilot' was just fantastic. I'll never forget his piece about an inadvertant spin while practicing his aeros routine - a few moments of loss of control and seemingly certain death superbly described in several hundred words.
But the reason I came here was to applaud the arrival of James Gilbert on the 'Flyer' team. Excellent! Even though I've not read his piece yet
