Hi all,
I've tried contacting a reputable maintenance shop nearby (in Bedfordshire), but they said they aren’t taking on any more work. I haven’t seen any relevant ads in Flyer - do they advertise elsewhere? Is there a shortage of Part 145 maintenance organisations?
I’m looking in the East Anglia/South East area, ideally somewhere with public transport links to London, so I could return home easily after dropping off the aircraft.
If I understand correctly, perhaps a CAMO could oversee things and defer certain tasks to certified engineers nearby? Apologies if that’s completely off; I’m a total novice when it comes to this. Unfortunately, the manufacturer doesn’t have a dedicated maintenance shop (unlike, say, Diamond), so I’m navigating this on my own.
