This was in the latest 'Oldie' newsletter, but is itself presumably out of copyright. It is the syllabus for one term at Dulwich College when it was attended by P G Wodehouse. His books are full of throwaway lines in comic contexts which nevertheless wittily betray his Classical erudition, which for me is part of the joy of reading him. I thought Forumites who had not had the (genuine, for me) joy of starting Latin at 8 and (Classical) Greek at 11 (in the '50s) might like to see how things were even longer ago
