I have an old iPad mini with what seems to be a 7.9 inch screen measured down the centre of its longer dimension.
It stopped updating at iOS 15.8.3 . It’s not a major issue as dear old Tim still supports SkyDemon on it but other things are beginning to go a bit flaky.
It has used 42 out of 64gb and that isn’t likely to change much
It fits in a holder on the yoke in the aircraft so the replacement needs to be the same size. It’s Wi-Fi only as it gets GPS and connection from Skyecho.
I can see 2019 iPads pretty cheaply on music magpie and it looks to be the right size with a later chip so if someone could reassure me it’s a sensible replacement I’ll be most grateful. Otherwise a recommendation would be very greatly appreciated.
