I’ve been waiting six weeks for a set of rudder cables to be made for the Aircoupe by some company in Scotland.

This morning I get a message that they will be ready 12/06/2025 WTF! For cables that take a couple of hours to make.

Is there anyone who can make aircraft control cables here within a reasonable time?

I am asking Univair whether they can supply cables of the correct length for an Aircoupe?
Last year they supplied cables too long and the engineer here shortened them but still slightly too long!
He fell out with the maintenance company and so I now have to suffer the results of this.

I am tempted to sell the O-200 A engine and propeller to pay the bill, and to break this aeroplane.
The state of maintenance in England is appalling.
