Just discovered British Gas have been incorrectly billing my MIL.
Only noticed it whilst sorting out her final bill after she moved out of her bungalow.
She's been billed in M³ but her meter is an older ft³ cubed one.
This has resulted in an overcharging of gas used by a factor of 2.83.
Basically, she's been charged £28.30 for every £10.00 of gas used, and this potentially goes back 25 years!
Any guesses how long this is going to take to sort?
