THE FURY AND THE DOGHOUSE – “Buying an aircraft was a serial threat of mine but this time I was looking at an Isaacs Fury, an aircraft I'd always lusted after and this quirky looking example had a paint scheme copied from the Persian Air Force who operated 22 Hawker Furys in the 1940s. Of course, I didn't know that at the time, I'm just showing off what I've learned since.” From unhappy spouses to dodgy paintwork and collapsing gazebos, Paul Catanatch offers a very personal view of the work involved with buying and building and Isaacs Fury biplane. Here are a few extra photos from the build.
